PARADE LOCATION:
Wentzville’s Fourth of July Parade
ARRIVAL TIME:
8:00 AM
PARADE LENGTH:
1.2 miles – 1-1/2 hours
Looking for people of ALL ages to come join us and walk the parade route.
- 1 person to walk in front and carry the IWWP banner (FILLED)
- 4 Wheel walkers (2 STILL NEEDED)
– Prevent spectators from running in the path of the vehicle
– Make sure decorations are not caught in the wheels
– Throw candy to the spectators - 20+ Walkers
– Hold float themed signs
– Wave and engage the spectators
– Sing along with the music
– People that like to HAVE FUN!!! - – Wheelchair and Elec Chairs are welcome
NOTE: We are not allowed to stop if they break down
– Mobility Issues – Can accommodate 2-3 people with a ride
– Small children – pull carts and strollers are welcome
– No bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, golf carts, . . . - Attire Suggestions
– Comfortable clothing and shoes
– IWWP’s Blue T-Shirt OR
– Historical costumes (Spirit of ’76 musicians /
Women’s Suffrage / Military, . . . OR
– 250th Celebration / 4th of July shirts OR
– Red / White / Blue colors - BYOB (of WATER!!)
